EDUCACIÓN AMBIENTAL A TRAVÉS DEL VIDEO.

ELVIDEO AMBIENTAL, UNA ALTERNATIVA PARA REEMPLAZAR LA VIOLENCIA Y EL NARCOTRÁFICO EN LA PRODUCCIÓN AUDIOVISUAL COLOMBIANA

Este 19 de noviembre arranca convocatoria para quienes deseen participar en la segunda versión del Festival de Video Ambiental CVC 2010. El lanzamiento del Festival se llevará a cabo este jueves 19 de noviembre a las 7:00 p.m. en el auditorio Bernardo Garcés Córdoba de la CVC en Cali.

Con un despliegue nacional, la Corporación Autónoma Regional del Valle del Cauca, CVC, abre un espacio para que los productores audiovisuales con sensibilidad especial hacia el medio ambiente exhiban sus obras logrando posicionar así el video alternativo en nuestro país.

El Festival permite la participación de productores de video profesionales y aficionados, así mismo incluye la categoría de animación y permite un espacio especial para que las instituciones educativas del Departamento presenten sus proyectos ambientales y obtengan la grabación de sus experiencias. Además la entidad ganadora en ésta categoría obtendrá un kit de grabación audiovisual como insumo para continuar encontrando en el video un espacio para la educación ambiental a través de la denuncia, la crítica o la búsqueda de soluciones.

Con éste evento la Corporación entregará incentivos hasta por 40 millones de pesos, al tiempo que propone el medio ambiente como una alternativa temática para la producción audiovisual colombiana, ya saturada de violencia y narcotráfico. Es un llamado a los cineastas colombianos a encontrar la diferencia en los lentes nacionales.

El Festival de Video Ambiental de la CVC , que se realiza cada dos años, logró convocar más de 90 productores de video en su primera versión y es único en su género en Colombia.

Las inscripciones para la segunda versión, permanecerán abiertas entre el 19 de noviembre de 2009 y el 5 de marzo de 2010. Quienes estén interesados en participar, pueden obtener mayor información en el 620 00 00 ext. 428 o en la página web www.cvc.gov.co.
