Dear FIX,

We hope that you're enjoying the course so far! Two quick announcements. First- the lectures for Week 2 and the second assignment are now posted! Please have a look at "Video Lectures" to get started. Second- to clear up any confusion regarding assignment deadlines, we've settled upon the following policy. Students will have 10 days to submit assignments from the date that the assignments are released. That means that: Assignments will made available on Tuesday mornings (Geneva time, UTC+1). They will be due 10 days later, on the following Friday by 9am (Geneva time, UTC+1) Note that there is a small amount of overlap (that is, for a couple of days, two assignments are available at the same time). To put that in context, that means, for assignment 1, the (soft) due date is Friday, September 28th at 9am, Geneva time - UTC+1 (hard due date: Tuesday, October 2nd at 9am UTC+1, with a 20% penalty for each day the assignment is late). For assignment 2, the (soft) due date is Friday, October 5th at 9am Geneva time - UTC+1 (hard due date: Tuesday, October 9th at 9am UTC+1). Good luck, and we hope you enjoy the rest of the course!

Instructor Led Classroom Training RecStay classes are more then just dynamic, engaging and incorporate practical examples demonstrating how the techniques the trainee is learning can be implemented into their work immediately. Course material covers the range from beginner to advanced. Class length is 6-7 hours, depending on the subject and level. At the end of the day the trainee has been introduced to a good number of concepts and tools and has had the opportunity to practice them during the class. The instructor for all classes, has experience as a trainer. He has trained in a wide variety of settings, from high-tech training rooms to the factory floor. He has rolled out software to large companies, projects spanning several years, as well as smaller firms and shorter engagements. His training style is such that he engages the trainee right from the beginning and keeps the pace lively during the entire class. He takes "what if" questions as they come and goes "off book" if the need arises, modifying the material to fit the classes' needs. Along with group classes, one on one training is available.
